In this
article, I am going to explain my own story about the effect of Labetalol for
High Blood Pressure during pregnancy (mine).
From the very
beginning of my pregnancy, I had high blood pressure but that was not so much
high. However, with the passage of my pregnancy period, my blood pressure rose and about after 5/6
months my blood pressure rose to the
level where medication was required to
be taken. Resultantly, my Doctor advised me to take Aldomet tab but later on due
to not having fruitful result, Abdomen

I started
using Labetalol, in the beginning, it helped me in reducing my blood pressure for
reasonable period of time but later, the blood pressure was out of control and
same could not be properly controlled with this Labetalol. My dosage was
changed and I was also given Labetalol Injection, but despite of all these
efforts my blood pressure problem could not be solved properly.
Due to my
increased blood pressure, my baby was not getting enough nutrition therefore my
baby by could not grow properly.
In 8th
months of my pregnancy, my water bag got leaked and in emergency situation,
I was admitted in Hospital and I gave birth to a premature baby boy. Due to restricted
supply of nutrition to my baby in womb due to my high blood pressure, he had

Although,
after the birth of my baby boy, he was not facing any breathing problem but still
he had some other problems might be in brain or body. After 2/3 days of birth
of my baby body, in his blood, high bilirubin level was found, due to
which his blood was changed but it did
not cure him and ultimately he left this world leaving us in sorrowful
