In this
article, I am going to discuses that is having PCOS dangerous? or you may ignore it.
Although, all
women suffering from PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) are
not at risk of high danger but still some women may have to face severe affects
or complications with regard to PCOS.
So, if you
have been diagnosed with PCOS, you should be very careful regarding PCOS
and its treatment or management of its symptoms because in future your PCOS may
become more critical, if you leave it untreated.
It is understood
that a PCOS is not completely curable however, it can be controlled or symptoms
of a PCOS can be managed by reducing weight, taking oral
medications, having exercise and by making some Dietary modifications.
How to know if you have PCOS?
Even without taking
any test or ultrasound, just by noticing something in your body, to some extent
you can know that you might be suffering from PCOS. All the women don’t have
same types of symptoms rather symptoms associated with PCOS may be varied from
woman to woman.
You may be suffering
from PCOS if:

Your menstrual cycle is irregular
2.
You are not getting pregnant.
3.
You body weight is more than usual.
4.
Your mood does not remain normal and swings from time to
time.
5.
You are having heavier bleeding during your menstrual period.
6.
Hairs are growing on unwanted parts of body like sideburn
region, chin, upper lip, lower abdomen, chest, thigh etc.
7.
Your head hairs are thinning or falling.
8.
Acnes are growing on your face or body.
9.
You skin is darkening or patches are on your skin.
10.
Your skin is getting oily.
Above mentioned symptoms are common symptoms and are just an idea to know
that you might be a PCOS patient. To confirm your PCOS, your Gynecologist/
Doctor may take Ultrasound scan to visualize if any cyst is present in your
ovaries. Besides, Blood test may also be taken for confirmation of PCOS.

the complications of PCOS, some of which are severe in nature while others are not.

A woman with
PCOS:-

May have difficulty in getting pregnant or
you can say it as infertility
2.
If get pregnant, she may have complications during Pregnancy
induced High blood pressure.
3.
Preeclampsia
4.
May have birth complications like Premature birth or
miscarriages
5.
May have High Blood Sugar
6.
May suffer from cardiac illness.
7.
May have obstructive sleep apnea or
eating disorders
8.
May feel herself depressed and may face swinging of
moods
9.
May suffer from Gestational diabetes or
Type 2 Diabetes.
10.
Endometrial cancer (in rare cases)
