PCOS Success Story

In this article, I have shared my own experience of getting pregnant with PCOS with medical reports. This article will explain the following:-

How I got pregnant with PCOS?

I am 31 years old woman, suffering from PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). My name is “Hira Kausar”. I married about 10 years ago i.e on 04^th November 2013

When after few 11 months of marriage, I could not conceive, me and my husband approached the nearby Gynecologist for our medical examination. The Gynecologist suggested me few medicines including Capsule Evion 200 mg and directed me to take these medicines for consecutive three months. Following is the Gynecologist’s Prescription / Report:-

Besides, my Hemoglobin, Serum Glucose, Blood Grouping Tests and my husband’s Semen tests were also taken. My Hemoglobin was good and same was 13.9 gm/dl. However, my husband’s semen analysis was also good with 180 million/ml in numbers and 70% active motility. Four test reports of Semen, Hemoglobin, Serum Glucose, Blood Grouping are as under:-

After using the said medicines, I had no fruitful results; hence I visited the same Gynecologist again. The Gynecologist changed my medicine and prescribed me to use tab CAC 1000 plus and other medicine. I used these medicines too but of no avail, hence I and my husband decided to visit the same Gynecologist again. The Doctor changed my medicines to some extent with the direction to use the same for next three months.

When I could not get pregnant despite of using all the medicines, I left this Gynecologist and decided to visit another Gynecologist.

I visited as many as more than 5 Gynecologist one after the other. These Gynecologists prescribed me different medicines, which I used accordingly. but despite of using all the medicines, I could not get success in conceiving. The medical prescription of one of these Gynecologists is as under, in which my B/L PCOS was detected and Gynecologist gave remarks about my PCOS as “B/L PCOS seen”.

Be noted, the many Gynecologists had made experiments on me by prescribing me more and more medicines and changing these medicines as well. These medicines had not helped me in getting pregnant and I am pretty much sure that these medicines have badly affected me and in this way 08 years of my marriage elapsed with no pregnancy or child.

Luckily, I discussed with my problem with Family Doctor, the Doctor advised me to consult with his colleague Professor Lady Doctor (Gyn). So, I and my husband visited Professor Doctor Gynecologist. She was a very good and competent Gynecologist, who after my thorough examination, ultrasound and taking my fresh medical reports, suggested me to use her prescribed medicines.

I used the medicines as prescribed by the Gynecologist for about three months. During this period, I was also injected 2/4 injections. Before getting pregnant, about 14/15 days before my next periods, on 27^th August 2021, I was injected 2 Injections of “IVF-C 5000” at same moment and Gynecologist directed me to intercourse with your partner on same day. Following is the prescription of Gynecologist:-

After few days of taking Injections of “IVF-C 5000, I started feeling something changed in my body and little bit pain in my lower abdomen part. I was sure that that something good is going to happen.

When I my next expected periods did not come for 1/2 days, At home, I used 02 Pregnancy Test Tubes to check my pregnancy. Firstly I checked in night by taking my urine sample and dipping the pregnancy test tube. I found positive results, means this test result was telling me that I have become pregnant. To reconfirm, I check on next morning with another Pregnancy Test Tube and found positive result.

I was so much glad to see the results that I have become pregnant for the first time throughout my marriage life i.e 8/9 years.

On next visit to same Gynecologist, I told my Doctor that I have taken my pregnancy test at home and found positive result. Although, my Gynecologist did my ultrasound but she was not pretty much sure of my pregnancy and said that it is an early pregnancy that’s why it is not showing in ultrasound machine. Therefore, to confirm my pregnancy, my Gynecologist advised me to take B-HCG Test, which I did accordingly. This HCG Test reconfirmed my pregnancy. In my B-HCG report, B-HCG Level was 6904 mIU/mL. Following is the report of B-HCG Levels, which confirmed my pregnancy of 5 weeks.

I really thanks to said Competent and Expert Gynecologist, who guided treated me with full devotion and care, which caused my pregnancy in PCOS.

After 05/06 months of my pregnancy, my blood pressure was too much high, therefore, due to my increased blood pressure, my baby was not getting enough nutrition/blood resultantly he could not grow well in womb.

Finally, my C Section was done and on 17^th April 2022, at 11:30 AM, I gave birth to a preterm baby boy. Following is the real photo of my premature baby boy:-

After the birth of my baby, he was shifted to NICU for monitoring and further checks. During his monitoring and checks, the Blood Test of my baby boy was taken in which high level of bilirubin was present, therefore his blood was changed but of no avail. My baby boy remained alive for 3 days but thereafter lost his life on 21^st April 2022 leaving us alone. Following is the death certificate of my baby.

Note: It was my own mistake that I did not follow the instructions of my last gynecologist for lowering my blood pressure, that’s why I faced above said serious complications of high blood pressure.
